NW6 is a white non-woven geotextile fleece, designed for domestic and light trade use. With a weight of 80gsm, it’s ideal for separating soil layers, wrapping soakaways, lining French drains, and use beneath driveways and porous paving systems.
This membrane provides effective separation and filtration while allowing water to pass through, making it suitable for a range of groundwork and drainage projects:
Allows water to drain naturally through the ground
Prevents soil mixing between layers (e.g. sub-base and sub-grade)
Ideal under gravel, EcoGrid, or block paving
Compatible with attenuation tanks and soakaway crates
Equivalent to Terram Advantage
French drains and trench lining
Soakaway and attenuation tank wrapping
Porous paving and driveway underlay
Weed suppression
Horse arenas and paddocks
Manufactured from thermally bonded polypropylene fibres
Strong yet lightweight for easy handling on site
Excellent permeability and water flow rates
Rolls available in full or half-width sizes

Yes, NW6 is ideal for wrapping around attenuation tanks and soakaway crates. It allows water to enter the system while keeping soil and debris out.
Absolutely. It acts as a separator between sub-base and ground while allowing water drainage, preventing sinking or rutting over time.
NW6 is a lighter membrane, suited to domestic and light-duty jobs. Heavier grades (like NW8 or NW18) offer higher strength for areas with regular traffic or where extra protection is needed.
Yes, it helps to reduce weed growth while still allowing water to pass through. For landscaping, it provides a durable, permeable barrier beneath gravel or soil.
Unroll directly over a prepared sub-surface. Overlap adjacent sheets by at least 300mm (600mm on soft ground). Avoid stretching. Secure with pegs if needed before backfilling.
