High-visibility non-woven geotextile for contaminated land separation and filtration. The TCS TS1000 Orange is a mechanically bonded, continuous-filament non-woven membrane designed for contaminated land projects where a visible warning layer is needed. It provides separation, filtration and a clear visual marker for future excavations.

Key Features & Benefits

  • High-visibility orange – warns of potential hazards during future digs.
  • Separation & filtration in one – prevents soil intermixing while allowing water flow.
  • Durable polypropylene construction – UV stabilised for long-term site performance.
  • Resistant to installation damage – high puncture resistance and tensile strength.
  • Hydraulically efficient – maintains permeability for effective drainage.

Typical Applications

  • Contaminated land capping and separation
  • High-visibility marker layer in excavation zones
  • Civil engineering and infrastructure projects
  • Filtration in drainage and groundworks

FAQs

Can this be used in place of a standard warning mesh?

Yes. The TS1000 provides both a warning colour and the functional benefits of separation and filtration.

Is it suitable for direct sunlight exposure?

Yes. It is UV-stabilised to maintain performance in exposed conditions during installation.

Can it be used with granular drainage layers?

Yes. The permeability and fine opening size allow water flow while retaining soil particles.

How is it installed?

Lay the membrane flat over the prepared subgrade, overlapping adjacent sheets by at least 300 mm. Secure with ground pegs or pins if required.

What’s the difference between this and a standard non-woven membrane?

The TS1000 has a distinctive orange colour for hazard marking, while standard membranes are typically white or black for general separation/filtration use.
