FAQs
Do I still need sealing tape with the Jubilee Clip version?
Yes. The clip adds fastening strength, but double-sided and single-sided tape must be used for a full airtight seal.
Are these suitable for both gas and water sealing?
Yes. When used with membrane tape, they provide a continuous airtight and watertight barrier.
Can they be used with different pipe materials?
Yes, Pennine Top Hats are compatible with most standard 110mm and 160mm plastic pipes.
Are they reusable?
They are designed as permanent fittings, but can be cut away and replaced if necessary.
