Green Inbitex is a specialist non-woven geotextile designed for use in sustainable drainage systems (SUDS), where it filters, separates, and actively aids the biological cleansing of stormwater.
Inbitex combines physical filtration with a biological cleaning process. It encourages the growth of naturally occurring microbes that break down pollutants like hydrocarbons and organic material.
Its dual-layer construction – from polypropylene and polyethylene – creates a fibrous structure with microscopic dish-like recesses. These support microbial colonies, even in dry conditions, enhancing long-term performance. Used above or below the sub-base, Inbitex protects lower layers from clogging and boosts water quality entering storage tanks or aquifers.

UV-protected packaging for site storage
Inbitex can be used as both a top and bottom filter layer within permeable paving systems. The top layer prevents fines entering the base, while the bottom layer filters and treats water before discharge or storage.
It retains fine aggregate, silts, hydrocarbons, and other pollutants. Its structure supports microbes that actively degrade oils and organic waste.
Yes. Inbitex helps pre-treat water before it enters storage tanks, improving water quality and reducing maintenance.
Inbitex is delivered in UV-protective wrapping. For best results, install immediately after unwrapping to prevent degradation during prolonged sunlight exposure.
The unique surface of Inbitex creates micro-environments that support microbial life, even in dry periods. These microbes biodegrade contaminants like oils and organic matter in the stormwater.
