Anchor Geotextiles & Mark Bays With One High Performance Peg

These versatile pegs combine high-grip anchorage with bay visibility, making them ideal for use with geotextile membranes, porous paving grids and other ground stabilisation systems.

The barbed shaft delivers powerful hold in soft or loose ground—up to 700% more holding power than smooth steel pegs, according to manufacturer testing. An optional high-visibility white cap allows the same peg to be used as a bay marker for car parks, driveways and walkways.

Practical Applications

Ideal for:

  • Ground reinforcement grids (e.g. EcoGrid)
  • Woven or non-woven geotextiles
  • Erosion control matting
  • Resin and gravel paving underlays
  • Bay marking in car parks and access routes

Why Use These Pegs?

  • Exceptional anchorage – Up to 700% more holding power than smooth steel pegs of the same length
  • Dual purpose – Optional high-vis top for bay marking
  • Safe for sensitive sites – Non-conductive and shatter-resistant; suitable near power lines, animals and machinery
  • Fast installation – Sharp point and barbs fit easily into mesh or membrane layers
  • Durable material – Manufactured from UV-stable, impact-resistant polymer

FAQs

What’s the benefit of the barbed shaft?

The barbs grip the soil to prevent uplift and movement, especially in softer or sloped ground.

How does the bay marking work?

Each peg includes a slot for an optional white top, making it highly visible for use in marking bays, walkways or access zones.

Do I need tools to install these pegs?

They can be inserted by hand or with a mallet, depending on ground conditions.

Why is there a tolerance on bulk orders?

Larger quantities are packed by weight to streamline fulfilment; this results in a small ±10% unit variation.
