RainBloc 300L Storm Soakaway Crate
The RainBloc 300L is a high-strength stormwater soakaway crate designed for infiltration and attenuation in both domestic and commercial drainage applications. Made in the UK from recycled polypropylene, it offers robust water management in trafficked zones, including those used by HGVs.
Holds up to 300 litres (gross) per crate, reducing pressure on surface drainage systems
95% void ratio for efficient stormwater capture and release
Suitable for SuDS compliance and local authority regulations
Use as infiltration (soakaway) or attenuation system depending on membrane wrap
Modular format allows fast installation in single or multi-layer configurations
Suitable for landscaped areas, private drives, and commercial surfaces
Load-tested for 60 tonnes/m² vertically and 15 tonnes/m² laterally
Compatible with car, van, and HGV traffic
Manufactured from upcycled polypropylene and certified to ISO 9001
Stackable design enables delivery of up to 90m³ per articulated lorry, reducing site deliveries and emissions
Pre-cut geotextile fleece is available to suit typical crate quantities:
1 crate – 2.25m x 3m (6.75m²)
3 crates – 2.25m x 6m (13.5m²)
6 crates – 2.25m x 8m (18m²)
Use a non-woven geotextile (e.g. NW8 100gsm) for soakaway systems, or a waterproof membrane for full retention.

Yes, the RainBloc 300L supports up to 60 tonnes/m² vertically, making it suitable for driveways, car parks, and other trafficked areas.
Yes. It is ideal for Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), providing high-capacity infiltration and attenuation.
Yes. Use a non-woven geotextile membrane for soakaways or an impermeable liner for retention systems.
You’ll need approximately 3.3 crates per cubic metre.
Not with standard crates alone. For inspection, use RainBloc Inspect units as part of the system.
